A truly exceptional complete set of all eight US lobby cards for the 1974 James Bond film “The Man With The Golden Gun”, produced for United Artists under the classic stewardship of Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and director Guy Hamilton. Ian Fleming’s spy novel received the usual terrific treatment with the help of two beautiful Bond Girls, Britt Ekland and Maud Adams, and an incredibly dangerous villain, Scaramanga portrayed by Hammer Films “Dracula” star Christopher Lee. He is accompanied by one of the best Bond henchmen, diminutive Nick Nack as played by French actor Herve Villechaize. Stunning Far East location work in this effort includes Kowloon, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and throw in a bit of martial arts (popular due to the huge success of “Enter The Dragon”) then you have not just your typical action-packed Bond spectacle but also an incredible series of Bond images. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) these lobby cards display and present to superb effect. No pinholes, tears, rips or paper loss, just the very minimal of handling wear, this beautiful set represents a fantastic item of highly desirable 007 movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Travelling to Los Angeles for the Johnny Carson show to promote the film, Sir Christopher Lee had his golden gun confiscated by U.S. Customs.

“A battle fought in the stars, now… comes to Earth.”
A beautiful, Dolph Lungren autographed limited edition art print (hand-numbered #14/40) by artist Chris Barnes (also known as Brutal Posters) showing highly detailed depictions of the assortment of characters from Gary Goddard’s fantasy adventure “Masters of the Universe” (1987). The close-up image of Skeletor’s face in the top left corner is particularly striking, finished in soft shades of purple, which contrasts against the rest of the design. This alternative movie print from 2020 has been autographed by He-Man himself – Dolph Lungren, who also added his character name and the annotation – “I Have the Power.” The poster was signed in the USA at Galaxycon, Richmond on 24th-26th March and is accompanied by a full letter of authenticity. A fantastic item of hugely collectable pop-culture memorabilia.
Trivia: Many viewers of the film commented on actress Meg Foster‘s eerily effective contact lenses which gave her character Evil-Lyn a sinister and unearthly air. Actually she wore no contact lenses. Her eyes naturally have blue/grey irises and tiny pupils, giving her a striking appearance. She has often been cast in sci-fi/fantasy roles because of them and jokes that she appeals to casting directors as she brings her own special effect with her for free.

An all-action sweeping vista of a film poster for Glen A. Larson’s sci-fi ‘epic’ “Mission Galactica: The Cylon Attack”. Receiving a full cinematic release in Europe & the UK (it was a edited together version of 3 TV shows released in the USA) largely cashing in on the still very popular ‘Star Wars’ phenomena. With some colourful, dynamic sci-fi artwork by Robert Tanenbaum (a homage to Tom Chantrell’s famous Style C art for ‘Star Wars’ perhaps ?) this original 1979 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent original unrestored, folded (as issued) condition that looks superb and displays to excellent effect with minimal age and handling wear; colours are deep and unfaded with some truly rip roaring imagery. This fine example represents a fantastic piece of very collectable and desirable original movie memorabilia for a much loved and hugely popular film and TV franchise.

Dust off that velvet suit, making sure those lapels are of regulation width (hint, anything under 12″ not accepted). Polish the platform shoes and make sure the mullet is brushed…the 70’s are back with a vengeance…“Never Too Young To Rock”. Featuring a string of ‘top’ bands from the ‘Glam-Rock’ decade; Mud, the Rubettes, Glitter Band, Scott Fitzgerald, Whoopee Band, Slick add Sally James a sexy music journalist (best remembered as Chris Tarrant’s co-compere in the cult kids TV show TISWAS) and you have a mountain of fun & nostalgia for those of a certain age. With some colourful, dynamic artwork it really epitomises the time and is a very ‘FUN’ poster. This original 1976 UK quad film poster is presented in excellent original unrestored, folded (as issued) condition that displays to fine effect; colours are deep and unfaded with some great glam 70’s imagery. “Oh! What a Lovely War” was Richard Attenborough’ Directorial debut in 1969 and also resulted in a highly patriotic film poster with a Union Jack design and as Sim Branagan states in his 2006 book “British Film Posters” – “A clever and appealing spoof of the classic Kitchener call-up poster”. With initial design by John Billingham and finished artwork by Brian Sanders each section of the Union Jack flag feature a scene from the movie and include General Haig (John Mills) playing leap frog and Brighton Pier with the colours red, white and blue are enhanced with Khaki, lilac and different shades of blue, red & green. An exceptional and eye-catching looking film poster with superbly detailed imagery, this really is a beautifully designed stand out poster and is becoming increasingly hard to find. Originally folded (as issued) this 1969 UK quad film poster displays superbly with vibrant unfaded colour tones. Directed by John McTiernan, who would go on to helm “Die Hard” the following year (arguably the greatest action movie ever made), the film is an excellent mix of gung-ho action and sci-fi horror with a truly iconic monster (designed by Stan Winston). The rare and original Japanese B2 film poster offered here is the ‘Cast’ style from first year of release 1987 with ‘Dutch’ (Schwarzenegger) prominent and a photo montage of the other leading actors in a design that is unique to Japan. Considered a classic by Arnie’s legion of fans & collectors of the action / sci fi genre it is incredibly scarce in this format. A classic case of the poster artwork being significantly more exciting than the film it was attempting to sell to the cinema-going public, this is the UK quad for the release of Terry Marcel’s low-budget sci-fi adventure Prisoners of the Lost Universe. The poster was designed and illustrated by the late, great British artist Tom Chantrell whose dynamic and colourful work featured on hundreds of posters over a forty year period. His official website features a great biography written by Sim Branaghan, author of the must-own book British Film Posters. Chantrell illustrated many classic poster designs, including several Hammer posters such as the brilliant quad for ‘One Million Years B.C.’, and was also responsible for the iconic Star Wars quad. Very rare and hard to find this originally rolled (as issued) example from 1983 displays very well with minimal age and handling wear. It looks fantastic and presents very well and represents a fantastic piece of very collectable Tom Chantrell poster artwork and a fine piece of original film memorabilia.

Being on almost constant release since it premiered in 1981 “Raiders of the Lost Ark” received an updated movie poster for the ‘official’ re-release in 1982. Artistic duties were again assigned to Richard Amsel who produced a more exciting, action packed offering. The overall ancient/papyrus styling remained but now Indiana Jones is featured in trademark bull-whip cracking pose offset against the Ark of the Covenant with the strong supporting cast beautifully rendered around the borders. A better image than the original ? Not really just slightly different and a perfect addition to the canon. This rare classic adventure poster from the ultimate adventure movie presents extremely well and is offered in beautiful rolled, unfolded (as issued) unrestored original condition. A truly fine piece of original country of origin movie memorabilia for a character and franchise that has proved to be one of the best loved and highly successful franchises in film history.
Trivia: Freeze-framing during the Well of Souls scene, you can notice a golden pillar with a tiny engraving of R2-D2 and C-3PO from the Star Wars saga. They are also on the wall behind Indy when they first approach the Ark.

When first aired in 2010 the television series “SHERLOCK” went on to receive rave reviews and a cult following, becoming one of the most successful TV shows ever produced being revered by critics and fans alike in its modern re-imagined and re-booted formula. So successful in fact that for the ‘final’ episode on January 15th 2017 the BBC decided to simultaneously broadcast it in cinemas as well as standard TV screens. The advertising campaign was one the most extensive ever commissioned by the BBC and the poster that accompanied the extremely limited (one night only) cinema release was truly exceptional. Highlighting the two stars (Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman) it really is stunning, dark and mysterious with a design perfectly suited to the landscape format of the UK quad film poster. “Get Ready For Rush Hour”
Designed by Dan Chapman this is an original 1994 UK Quad film poster for Jan De Bont’s exceedingly fast paced bomb on a bus actioner “Speed”. A true box-office blockbuster this movie quickly became an action classic spawning a sequal and acting as a template for many films since. In the same way “Die Hard” launched Bruce Willis as a credible action hero the same can be said of “Speed” and Keanu Reeves. This impressive, all-action film poster displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with bright, unfaded colours and eye-catching imagery that represents a great piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia from the movie that launched the career of John Wick & Neo.
Trivia: The film was released one week before O.J. Simpson led Los Angeles police on a chase in a white Bronco after he was suspected of murder. After the Bronco chase, many audiences who saw the film in theaters noticed how closely scenes from the film resembled the real-life Bronco chase, including media coverage and aerial shots of Los Angeles freeways.
