Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” features the Avenger Hawkeye and ‘New Avenger’ Kate Bishop in a Disney+ series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame”. Jeremy Renner returns as the title character, joined by Hailee Steinfeld who plays the apprentice archer Kate Bishop (both are featured on the poster) and a strong supporting cast with perhaps Florence Pugh – the new Black Widow? returning as Yelena Belova as does one of Marvels’s most iconic villains with Vincent D’Onofrio donning his trademark white suit as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. Presented here in original unrestored condition this beautiful 2021 rolled (as issued) example displays to excellent effect with the minimal of handling wear. Only ever released as a one-sheet poster in the United States and printed exclusively for the US market to promote the first Season of “Hawkeye” this is a truly scarce poster and highly sought after that represents a fine addition for any collector of original Marvel Studio posters or comic book fan memorabilia.

Original 2007 one-sheet movie poster for the Pegg/Frost/Wright collaboration “Hot Fuzz”. A poster that is genuinely scarce due to limited cinema release and like the makers’ previous collaboration “Shaun of the Dead” it has very quickly gained a cult following. “Hot Fuzz” satirises American action films in a way that an American satire would not. Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg don’t simply spoof the plot threads and the car chases. They know the smaller details of Hollywood’s formula, as they exemplify with its continuous references to the scene in Point Break where Keanu Reeves fires his gun into the sky in anger and the scene in Bad Boys II where Martin Lawrence, in a circling tracking shot, says, “S*** just got real.” Not only do they tackle those less clear characteristics of Hollywood, they also perfectly portray people who talk about awesome scenes in action movies, hilariously by Nick Frost. Eye catching design by Creative Partnership of Pegg & Frost this excellent rolled example displays superbly and represents a super example of classic British cinema memorabilia.
Trivia: As this is the second part of the Cornetto Trilogy, the blue wrapper makes its appearance in the film. Nick and Danny are seen eating vanilla flavor ice cream. According to Edgar Wright, blue represents the police, which is the main motif in the film. For Wright’s other films, Shaun of the Dead (2004), it was red and strawberry flavor, representing blood and zombies, while the final part, The World’s End (2013), it was green and peppermint with chip, representing science fiction and extraterrestrial elements.

A very cool, stylish film poster from the mid 1960’s that perfectly typifies the period and the style of the artist; Bob Peak. A beautiful UK quad film poster for Gordon Douglas’ 1967 super-spy, James Bond parody sequel “In Like Flint”. This really is a fantastic looking poster ‘of the time’ – focusing on the star; James Coburn in his role as the super suave secret agent Derek Flint with colourful ‘swinging sixties’ stylised artwork. Peak’s similar film posters (“Modesty Blaise”, “Gambit”, “Our Man Flint” share this common style and concentrate on the stars all colourfully delineated then offset against a pale background. It is a style that works well and certainly impresses. Because of the white background (which marks easily & highlights the slightest defect) this poster is hard to find in high grade condition. The originally folded (as issued) unrestored example offered here has some very minimal handling & age wear but colours are bright and unfaded and the background a true bright white with no shading/ghosting to the fold lines. A fine investment grade piece that represents a very collectable piece of desirable original movie memorabilia.

Stella brings his own unique style to what, the purists is a more traditional movie poster. Ford is the featured point of interest with action scenes and supporting characters making up the background, as the familiar various shades of orange and brown dominate the colour palette. A perfect addition to the canon. This is a classic action adventure poster from the ultimate adventure movie series that presents to excellent effect and is offered in beautiful rolled, unfolded (as issued) unrestored original condition. A truly fine piece of original country of origin movie memorabilia for a character and franchise that has proved to be one of the best loved and highly successful franchises in film history.

A return to fun and adventure for Steven Spielberg’s 1989 sequel “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”. This original advance ‘He’s back in an all new adventure. Memorial Day 1989’ US one-sheet movie poster features the artwork of Drew Struzan, who has perfectly captured the likenesses of the lead character – Indiana Jones as played by Harrison Ford. Trivia: Sir Sean Connery was always Steven Spielberg‘s first choice to play Indiana Jones’ father, as an inside joke to say that James Bond is the father of Indiana Jones. If that had failed, Gregory Peck and Jon Pertwee were back-up choices for the role. Spielberg had always wanted to do a Bond movie, but did Indiana Jones as a James Bond-type character. In keeping with the James Bond theme, the movie has many Bond movie co-stars: John Rhys-Davies, Alison Doody, Julian Glover, Stefan Kalipha, Pat Roach, Eugene Lipinski, Michael Byrne, and Vernon Dobtcheff.

Darker and more serious in tone and content than its predecessor. Spiros Angelikas’ cleverly designed ‘Trust Him’ taglined poster certainly reinforces that aspect for Steven Spielberg’s 1984 prequel / sequel “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”. This original country of origin Advance teaser US one-sheet movie poster highlights the titular archaeologist hero bathed in a red (blood red ?) light surrounded by a dark black embossed patterned border. Originally rolled, as issued to the cinema this superb example displays to excellent effect being presented in totally unrestored high grade condition. Often seen as the ‘weakest’ of the franchise (not so in my book) this is considerably rarer than posters from the other films and is genuinely hard to find in this format and represents a fantastic piece of scarce original movie memorabilia for an incredibly popular and well loved series of films.
Trivia: While filming the whipping scene, the crew played a practical joke on Harrison Ford. While he was chained to a large stone, Barbra Streisand appeared, dressed in a leather dominatrix outfit. She proceeded to whip him, saying “That’s for Hanover Street (1979), the worst movie I ever saw.” She continued whipping him for Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977), and making all of that money. Carrie Fisher then threw herself in front of Ford to protect him, and Irvin Kershner chided director Steven Spielberg. “Is this how you run your movies ?” This entire sequence was filmed.

A truly exceptional complete set of all eight US lobby cards for the 1974 James Bond film “The Man With The Golden Gun”, produced for United Artists under the classic stewardship of Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and director Guy Hamilton. Ian Fleming’s spy novel received the usual terrific treatment with the help of two beautiful Bond Girls, Britt Ekland and Maud Adams, and an incredibly dangerous villain, Scaramanga portrayed by Hammer Films “Dracula” star Christopher Lee. He is accompanied by one of the best Bond henchmen, diminutive Nick Nack as played by French actor Herve Villechaize. Stunning Far East location work in this effort includes Kowloon, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and throw in a bit of martial arts (popular due to the huge success of “Enter The Dragon”) then you have not just your typical action-packed Bond spectacle but also an incredible series of Bond images. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) these lobby cards display and present to superb effect. No pinholes, tears, rips or paper loss, just the very minimal of handling wear, this beautiful set represents a fantastic item of highly desirable 007 movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Travelling to Los Angeles for the Johnny Carson show to promote the film, Sir Christopher Lee had his golden gun confiscated by U.S. Customs.

Although a relatively recent release any paper for Edgar Wright’s 2021 horror mystery “Last Night in Soho” is highly desirable. Not only because it is such a stylish and cool thriller movie but because of a beautiful painted movie poster created by artist, James Paterson. Although a huge success with audiences and critics alike the movie is considered somewhat ‘art-house’ and had a very limited cinema release resulting in the scarcity of the posters used in the marketing campaign with this particular one-sheet design only being used for cinemas where Edgar Wright undertook personal appearances for ‘question & answer’ screenings. Originally rolled (as issued) this British one-sheet movie poster looks and displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear with imagery perfectly suited to the portrait style format; the subtle use of colours are particularly memorable. A scarce, ‘modern’ original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented director that looks very very cool !
Trivia: The drink ordered by Sandie early on in the film is a Vesper created by Ian Fleming in the 1953 James Bond novel Casino Royale. The character Vesper Lynd was portrayed by Eva Green in Casino Royale (2006).
