Based upon photography by Michael Muller, BLT Communications LLC have created a truly dynamic ‘origin’ poster for the inaugural cinema outing for one of the corner stone characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe “Captain America: The First Avenger”. This original ‘Cast Style’ 2011 UK quad film poster for Marvel’s all action super hero romp for the iconic ‘Captain’ and is certainly impressive and perfectly suited to the horizontal landscape style of the British quad. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and memorable effect…One of the best looking posters to date for any of the Marvel Studios’ releases with colourful super-hero Steve Rogers/Captain America artwork that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia. If movie posters follow the trend of the comics, then ‘key’ and first appearances will become equally significant…this features the first appearances of Captain America (Steve Rogers), Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) and Peggy (Agent) Carter in the Marvel cinematic Universe.
Trivia: Originally cameo appearances were planned in the film for James “Logan” Howlett (Wolverine) and Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto), who were present during World War II (Logan was a soldier and Lehnsherr was in an internment camp). These cameos were scrapped due to rights issues.

…more detailAlthough a relatively recent release any paper for Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 violent car-themed actioner “DRIVE” is extremely scarce. His award winning film was complemented with an award winning movie poster created by Empire Design. Although a huge success with audiences and critics alike the movie is considered “art-house” or “independent” and had a very limited cinema release resulting in the scarcity of the poster. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear; the colours of the deep blues and blacks are dark and unfaded. An extremely scarce, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented director that looks very very cool !
Trivia: In preparation for his role, Ryan Gosling restored the 1973 Chevy Malibu that his character uses in the film.
…more detailAlthough a relatively recent release any paper for Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 violent car-themed actioner “DRIVE” is extremely scarce. His award winning film has been complemented by a series of alternative movie posters and in 2022 Mad Duck commissioned leading artist – Laurent Durieux to create his version. Durieux has produced an outstanding addition to the title, truly eye-catching and super stylish as he focuses on the inside of the Chevy Malibu, replacing the gearshift with a bloodied claw hammer (one of the key scenes from the movie). The deep, rich colours are predominantly blues and greys with ‘Ryan Gosling’ & ‘Drive’ printed in contrasting bright pink ink. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with very minimal handling wear. An extremely scarce, selling out in near record time modern art print collectable item of movie memorabilia from a truly talented director that looks very very cool !

…more detail“In order to catch him, he must become him”…Designed by BLT & Associates this is a rare and original Advance (June 27) US One Sheet movie poster from 1997 featuring John Travolta and Nicolas Cage for John Woo’s ultra-cool, stylish actioner “Face Off”. This rolled example is in exceptional condition and displays superbly.

“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives”. An early alternative lithograph for the phenomenally succesful HBO TV series “Game of Thrones”. Titled “The Harbinger”, this 2013 ‘Mondo’ screenprint features artwork by Ken Taylor and depicts the ‘three-eyed crow’, so significant in Bran Stark’s dreams. The landscape format perfectly suits the subject matter with the bright blood red sky of this ‘regular’ edition making it the best version to own. Limited to a print run of 440 this is hand-numbered #2. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents and displays to excellent effect and represents an outstanding piece of alternative movie memorabilia from one of the biggest TV shows in recent memory.

“Ghost in the Shell” sees Scarlett Johansson star as Major Mira Killian, saved from a terrible crash, who is cyber-enhanced to be a perfect soldier in the American 2017 adaption of Shirow Masamune’s cult Japanese manga creation and anime movie. A colourful and action packed cyber-punk offering from director Rupert Sanders that is very much mirrored in the design of the original British UK quad film poster by creative arts agency LA offered here. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect. Guaranteed original this represents a scarce item of modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exciting and cool film.
Trivia: In an establishing shot of the city, a Pan Am advert can be seen in the top left. The bankrupt airlines inclusion is a reference to Blade Runner (1982) which also had an in-film advert for them.
