“Charlie”, Malcolm Needs’ Brit-Gangster film loosely based on the life and times of notorious London gangster Charlie Richardson and his gang. The original UK quad film poster to accompany the 2004 release features a striking close up of ‘Charlie’ played by Luke Goss. Like many small studio independent releases the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema showings is truly scarce. Originally rolled this incredibly scarce example displays to excellent effect and represents a highly sought after piece of collectible film movie memorabilia presented in superb condition.

“It’s a film for all His fans and for all people who love His songs.”
“George Michael: A Different Story” is a touching 2004 documentary where George’s tells his story, with anecdotes and observations from his family, closest friends and musical peers. An extremely limited release, showing for a short period in a small number of arthouse cinemas, this UK quad, featuring a great image of George Michael is an incredibly rare film poster. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays superbly and represents a fantastic and hugely collectable item of music and movie memorabilia for a performer and musician who was truly unique.
Ain’t it cool news – “The documentary covers a good deal of Michael’s personal life in between all of his albums as well as some of the close inspirations for many of his songs. It discusses the many gains, losses and the mysteries of George himself with some regrets but an effort of hanging in there long enough to pull together.”

…more detailIn 2004 a film was released that defined the modern ‘British lad football culture’….that film was “The Football Factory” and the genre is still going strong and showing no sign of flagging. “The Football Factory” stars two actors who have very much cornered the market in ‘loveable’ rogues…Danny Dyer & Tamer Hassan. The originally rolled (as issued) UK quad film poster offered here displays beautifully and is presented in excellent condition with minimal handling wear and represents an extremely desirable piece of original British movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Tommy Johnson walks into a lounge where his friend Rod is playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002). This game was made by Rockstar Games, who are also credited as being Executive Producers for the movie. Also, Danny Dyer who plays Tommy Johnson in Football Factory was the voice of Kent Paul in Vice City.

Il Palio is distinctive because the jockeys do not represent the 17 districts of the Siennese region – the horses do. This film trains its eye on the Civetta community, desperate for a win in the race after a drought of over 20 years”
John Appel’s excellent and entertaining docu-drama based upon the annual horserace called the ‘Palio’ held in the city’s center piazza (Piazza del Campo) in Siena, Italy. A very limited cinema release in ‘art-house’ & ‘independent’ theatres meant the posters for this enjoyable film are in extremely short supply, which is a shame as the design and production quality is of a very high standard. The imagery (and it’s not often I speak positively about a single image photographic film poster) is excellent, very colourful with genuine warmth and passion; the spirit of the ‘palio’ is truly embodied in it. The original UK quad film poster offered here is from first year of release 2004 and as it was originally rolled (as issued) it looks and presents to very good effect…A very rare find, this scarce, exceptional looking piece represents very collectable & desirable movie memorabilia.
…more detail“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” is most certainly an unusual film. It’s something of a collage of colorful imagery, fragmented shots, quirky music, strange characters, bizarre situations, and amusing montages. But if you had seen Wes Anderson’s previous films, you would expect nothing less.“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” was a cult success on its release with Anderson’s loyal fanbase hailing another solid cinematic offering. Only having a very limited run and showing in a small number of (largely ‘art-house’ or ‘independent’) cinemas any paper from the Film is scarce and in very short supply, making this originally rolled (as issued) one-sheet from 2004 a really great find. Designed by award winning creative arts agency BLT Communications LLC this looks and displays to excellent effect and represents an extremely hard yo find, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented writer / director.
Trivia: The red woolen caps worn by the characters are a reference to Jacques-Yves Cousteau, famed underwater film-maker and co-inventor of the modern aqualung.

“The Punisher” may be one of the darkest comic book characters ever created. This film and especially Thomas Jane, get that which makes this film is one of the better in the genre, because it sticks to the source better than most. By 2004 the cinema had already seen an influx of ‘big-budget’ super hero movies; X-Men, Spiderman, Hulk as well as a re-imagined Batman so a ‘new’ Punisher was a safe bet as the character of Frank Castle still one of the most popular creations and a corner stone of the ‘Marvel Universe’. Designed by creative arts agency Intralink Film Graphic Design this original 2004 UK quad film poster is typical of the character, dark & moody. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with impressive artwork highlighting both The Punisher (Thomas Jane) & his protagonist Howard Saint (John Travolta). It represents a fine piece of collectible ‘comic book’ cinema movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Seeing as he had only one involvement with the creation of the original Punisher character; (changing the character from ‘The Assassin’ to ‘The Punisher’) this is one of the few movies based on a Marvel Comic in which Stan Lee does not appear.
