Graham Humphreys has once again produced a stunning piece of artwork for the fourth film in the iconic horror series “A Nightmare on Elm Street: Part 4 – The Dream Master”. The now instantly recognisable Freddy Krueger once again appears in silhouette (as the original British marketing campaign by Graham) and is a testament to how familiar the fanbase were with his character – the clawed glove, fedora and pose are now his trademark. His defining outline is offset against an amazingly colourful background with the ominous blood red tagline – Greetings From Hell. Setting a high bench mark for modern horror artwork Humphreys’ imagery was only used for the UK quad design and is one of the most sought after film posters of the 80’s and the horror genre. Graham Humpreys has been dubbed England’s greatest living horror artist and it’s not hard to see why when you see this beautiful film poster from first year of release 1988. Totally original and unrestored, this rolled (as issued) example is presented in excellent condition with only minimal handling wear with, unusually for a horror poster some incredibly bright colours. Extremely scarce and a must have for the serious collector it represents a fantastic item of horror movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The name of the diner where Alice works is called the “Crave Inn”, a reference to franchise creator Wes Craven.

A panoramic, widescreen film poster for Katsuhiro Ôtomo‘s groundbreaking adult animation epic…“Akira”. An action packed, award winning, hugely influential offering as we visit a dystopian future society set in Neo Tokyo, Japan. Presented in original unrestored, rolled(as issued) condition this beautiful 2020 UK quad film poster is for the remastered 4K release and features striking anime imagery. A rare film poster and a truly great find due to the very limited cinematic release in art-house and small independent cinemas. Presented in excellent condition, colours (particularly the deep red background) are deep and unfaded with some truly stunning and memorable imagery. This fine example represents a fantastic piece of very collectable and desirable original movie memorabilia that will appeal to Anime/Manga fans or those just looking for something very special to hang on their wall.
Trivia: The shot of Kaneda’s bike sliding to a stop away from the camera in the opening bike chase sequence is considered to be the most referenced shot in animation. Homages appear in such shows as Teen Titans, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars, Samurai Jack, Batman: The Animated Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Adventure Time, The Simpsons, and even Pokémon.

“See The Ghost With The Most”
An original 1988 UK Quad movie poster from the bizarre Tim Burton dark horror comedy “Beetlejuice”. Designed by B.D.Fox Independent with Carl Ramsey finished artwork this is a really great looking film poster; incredible lifelike imagery with the green titles and cast credits finished with a luminous ink – it really is effective, adding a spooky vibe to the design. “Beetlejuice” is a wacky, twisted and wild, typical Tim Burton comedy in which recently deceased young couple Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) seek help from crazed spirit Betelgeuse – a.k.a. Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) – when they are unable to put up with the family that’s newly moved into their house. Presented in original ROLLED (as issued) high grade condition with colours that pop from the paper this super clean example represents a fantastic piece of cinema memorabilia for one of the best loved movies from the 1980s.
Trivia: The skeleton head on top of Betelgeuse’s Merry-Go-Round is one of the first appearances of Jack Skellington, a skeleton figure which Tim Burton had been drawing since 1982, and would ultimately be used as the main character of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), which Burton co-wrote and produced.

“It’s Craaazy! … big top … big shoes … big teeth!!”
If you were looking for a film to define cult classic, and you don’t suffer from coulrophobia, look no further than the Chiodo Brothers’ 1988 sci-fi, comedy, horror “Killer Klowns From Outer Space”. From the incredible Tom Simpson artwork on the British Quad to the premise that a gang of aliens looking like grotesque, colourful circus clowns have come to Earth to terrorise and murder us by cocooning their victims in candy floss, it has everything a cult film fan could want. Regarded as one of the scarcest posters from the period and of the genre, this is a full size 30″ x 40″ (76 x 102 cm) from the very limited cinema release and not one of the smaller posters produced with the same artwork when it released on video in Great Britain. An incredibly hard film poster with very few printed with only an extremely small number to have survived. The U.S. one sheet with bland artwork is pretty scarce and finding this original English poster featuring Tom Simpson artwork is almost impossible.. especially in this excellent unrestored rolled (as issued) condition. It represents one of the funnest and coolest items of original cinematic movie memorabilia we have ever offered for sale…“In Space No One Can Eat Ice Cream!”
Trivia: The popcorn gun include a compressor inside that would fire real popcorn. It was the most expensive prop in the movie, costing $7,000 and taking six weeks to build.

A terrifying eye-catching film poster for Ken Russell’s “Lair of the White Worm”. This original 1988 UK quad film poster is stunning; truly memorable horror imagery as we see a close up of snarling fanged snake-creature about to attack. Very in your face and not at all as understated and restrained (much like the legendary Director). With unique British, country of origin artwork this is an extremely desirable and very scarce poster. In excellent original, unrestored condition this folded (as issued) example displays to superb effect and represents an impressive item of original horror movie memorabilia from a cult British horror classic.
Trivia: The D’Ampton worm is an obvious reference to the Lambton worm, which is a real English legend, dating back at least to the mediaeval period.

John Carpenter’s tale of alien occupation is part horror, part Sci-Fi and part social satire, all viewed through dark sunglasses of Roddy Piper . This original They Live movie poster is probably the scarcest of all the John Carpenter paper from the series of four (Escape From New York, Prince of Darkness, The Fog & They Live) 2018 remastered re-releases and a very rare find in such excellent condition as offered here…The original 2018 Japanese B2 film poster for John Carpenter’s They Live was originally rolled (as issued) & presents in exceptional original unrestored condition with great detailed artwork (unique to the Japanese re-release, as the other posters produced for these releases all feature new re-imaging artwork by Matt Ferguson) & strong vibrant colours. This original 1988 US one sheet “They Live” movie poster is a great looking example of John Carpenter paper from the 80’s and genuinely rare in this country of origin format. The striking design features a very close, close-up of ‘Nada’ with the Alien infiltrators reflected in his trademark sunglasses. Originally folded (as issued) it presents in very good original unrestored condition with only the minimal of fold line wear and strong bright colours. A cool, cult poster that represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential director’s who is still actively working in the sci-fi / horror / action genre.
Trivia: Artist Shepard Fairey credits the film as a major source of inspiration, sharing a similar logo to his “OBEY” campaign. “They Live was…the basis for my use of the word ‘obey’,” Fairey said. “The movie has a very strong message about the power of commercialism and the way that people are manipulated by advertising.”

John Carpenter’s tale of alien occupation “They Live” is part horror, part sci-fi and part social satire, all viewed through dark sun-glasses of Nada played by ex-professional wrestler Roddy Piper. Considered one of Carpenter’s best it was one of four seminal movies by the director re-released by Studio Canal in 2018, remastered in 4K, with the others being “Escape From New York”, “Prince of Darkness” and “The Fog”. All four movies had a strictly limited cinematic release and were accompanied a newly designed poster campaign (quads and one-sheets) by leading artist Matt Ferguson. Ferguson’s unique artistic style is evident throughout the four, each with its very own unique colour palette. A number of these full-size 30″ x 40″ UK quad styles were also released as a limited edition art print by Vice Press. Identical to the cinematic quad, in fact exactly the same – same paper, printer etc these were issued as timed releases each signed and hand-numbered by Matt Ferguson. Offered here is one of these signed art prints numbered #48 from a print run of only 216. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents in excellent condition. A cool, cult poster that represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential director’s who is still actively working in the film industry.

Largely due to the “Star Wars” effect and the huge global popularity of the “Dungeons & Dragons” role playing game, the 1980’s truly was the decade of the mystical sword and sorcery fantasy. Ron Howard’s’ “Willow” has stood the test of time well and is fondly remembered with a large and loyal fanbase. Boasting some amazing fantasy art for the British poster campaign by Brian Bysouth, (one of the most prolific and respected artists working in this field) this original 1988 UK quad for “Willow” certainly impresses. Scarce and hard to find in this high grade condition, this originally folded (as issued) example looks fantastic and presents in exceptional condition that represents a fine piece of hugely collectable original 80’s sci-fi fantasy movie memorabilia.
Trivia: George Lucas specifically wrote this film for Warwick Davis after meeting him on the set of “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983).”
