  • Barbarella Movie Poster

    Barbarella

    £325.00

“Barbarella, an astronaut from the 41st century, sets out to find and stop the evil scientist Durand Durand, whose Positronic Ray threatens to bring evil back into the galaxy.”

In arguably the most famous role of her career, Jane Fonda stars as “Barbarella” in Roger Vadim’s, campy, sci-fi fantasy. Based on the hugely popular French comic strip by Jean-Claude Forest the film is considered one of the 1960s quintessential cult movies. Its stylish and colourful comic art layout scenes are truly unique for the period, and represent a nice homage to its comic book roots. These scenes are captured to great effect in a series of eight British front of house lobby cards with Fonda featured in all, including the iconic and super sexy ray-gun in hand pose. Originally flat-unfolded (as issued) this beautiful complete set of all eight cards display to excellent effect with only minimal handling wear, vibrant, unfaded colours and an incredible selection of key scenes. An impressive set of highly collectable cinematic memorabilia for a much admired sci-fi classic that rarely turns up complete.

Trivia: Jane Fonda is filmed at times, especially during the opening spacesuit striptease sequence, in the famous French director’s “Vadim Tease” directorial style.

  • Blood Beast Terror Movie Poster

    Blood Beast Terror

    £595.00

“A ravishing PSYCHO-FIEND with the diabolical power to turn into a GIANT DEATHSHEAD VAMPIRE feasts on the BLOOD of her Lovers before clawing them to death!”

Blood Beast Terror (1968) was a Tony Tensor, Tigon Films release – a British studio providing real competition t0 Hammer, for so long the leading horror film producer in the UK. The British poster campaign was represented by a stunningly colourful UK quad, a mixture of illustration and photo montage, with some truly gruesome imagery. Presented unrestored and in excellent original folded (as issued) condition. A personal favourite of mine and a scarce example of British horror cinematic memorabilia.

Trivia: The stage play shown in the film echoes the story of notorious grave-robbers Burke and Hare. They would be the subject of Vernon Sewell‘s next film the following year.

  • Bullitt Alternative Movie Poster

    Bullitt

    £225.00

“When some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give BULLITT the mop. They weren’t exactly doing him a favour. But they’ve done a great big one for you.”

The King of COOL just got a lot cooler as presented here by Graham Humphreys on this beautiful limited edition Artist Proof alternative movie poster from 2018, undoubtedly one of the best Steve McQueen images. His performance as tough cop Frank Bullitt cemented his iconic movie star status. This excellent example displays and presents to excellent effect with only the very minimum of handling wear, the colours are strong and the graphics and design exceptional. I personally don’t think there is one ‘bad’ poster from the artist and although he is most famous for his horror offerings this break from the norm piece is quite exceptional. Signed by Humphreys in pencil he has also hand-numbered this limited edition Artist Proof of only 10 produced. This beautiful alternative movie poster print represents a fine item of highly desirable movie memorabilia for a true screen and cultural legend.

Trivia: According to Peter Yates, Steve McQueen made a point to keep his head near the open car window during the famous chase scene so that audiences would be reassured that it was he, not a stunt man, who was driving,

  • Night of the Living Dead Alternative Movie Poster

    Night of the Living Dead

    £225.00

“If it doesn’t scare you, you’re already dead!”

In 1968 George A. Romero released the zombie classic “Night of the Living Dead”. The one-sheet poster  that accompanied the release is a true icon of poster design using zombie footage from the movie and printed using black, white and lurid green imagery. The original poster has been reworked and sharpened up in 2024 by Bottlneck Gallery and ISH with colour separations by a true master of his craft – Jason Edmiston, who used the all red style, replicating the look of the 10th Anniversary (1978) one-sheet design. The studio had this to say on the release “George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead helped create the walking dead genre of film, and the original one-sheet movie poster is as bold and iconic now as it was in the late ‘60s. We worked with ISH and artist extraordinaire Jason Edmiston to revive the original one-sheet theatrical poster art in order to create an officially licensed, and horrifyingly awesome, screen print edition! The poster features bold design aesthetics with the title and credit work, all dutifully reanimated by Jason’s deft hand.” Presented in excellent unrestored, originally rolled (as issued) condition this variant edition is hand-numbered #6/100 and comes printed in a deep blood red colour tone. A highly desirable example of cinema memorabilia from perhaps the most influential horror film of the modern era.

“This is like the flood that happened during Noah’s time, or the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah! We ARE being punished for our sins! The dead are rising, and Judgment Day is upon us!”

Trivia: This is one of the most profitable independent movies ever made. Made for $114,000 (equivalent to $941,800 in 2022), it grossed approximately $30 million (equivalent to $247.8 million in 2022) – over 263 times its budget.

    £225.00

“If it doesn’t scare you, you’re already dead!”

In 1968 George A. Romero released the zombie classic “Night of the Living Dead”. A hugely popular title with many artists, with a number of different designs produced. In 2023 artist, Paul Mann created the first of his Living Dead’ trilogy and it’s fair to say he has produced a stunning alternative movie poster. A truly striking image that is perfectly suited to the portrait format of this edition. This limited edition art print is hand-numbered #26 from a print run of 150. With incredible likenesses of all the major cast, it is the trowel wielding zombie Karen Cooper (Kyra Schon) who takes centre stage with the use of lurid green coloured inks only adding to the eerie effect of this edition. This excellent example presents and displays near perfectly and represents a fantastic piece of collectable movie memorabilia from one of the most influential horror film’s ever made.

  • Planet of the Apes Movie Poster

    Planet of the Apes

    £1,495.00

“This is Commander Taylor, Astronaut. He has landed in a world where Apes are the rulers and Man the beast. Now he is caged, tortured, risks mutilation. Because no human can remain human on the Planet of the Apes.”

It’s not often I get a poster in that makes me go WOW! Well this original Czech one-sheet is such a poster. The film is a personal favourite of mine and this poster is one of the best, for Arthur P. Jacobs’ “Planet of the Apes” (Planeta Opic). It was created in 1970, the movie’s first year of release in the Czech Republic. The poster displays colourful psychedelic-inspired artwork by Vratislav Hlavaty. This artwork comes in a smaller size and a much scarcer larger format, and it is the larger format (22.75″ x 33″) which is offered here. The poster is presented conservation linen-backed with some minor sympathetic restoration. The colours are stunning, deep & unfaded. “Planet of the Apes” is considered one of the pivotal sci-fi movies ever made and this original example would provide an incredible corner-stone addition to any movie fan’s collection.

Trivia: At one of the first test screenings, a woman walked up to Charlton Heston and asked him how he was. Heston had no clue who she was until she revealed that she was Kim Hunter. He simply hadn’t recognized her as he hadn’t seen her outside of her ape make-up.
