Graham Humphreys’ beautifully rendered artwork for Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street” introduced the world to one of horror’s most evil and greatest personalities: Freddy Krueger. Setting a high bench mark for modern horror artwork Humphreys’ country unique imagery for the UK quad design is one of the most sought after film posters of the 80’s and the horror genre. Graham Humpreys‘ has been dubbed England’s greatest living horror artist and it’s not hard to see why when you see this beautiful UK quad film poster from first year of release 1984. Totally original and unrestored, this rolled (as issued) example is presented in excellent condition with unfaded dark black/blue colour tones and very minimal age and handling wear. The best Extremely scarce and a must have for the serious collector it represents a fantastic item of horror movie memorabilia. The best I have ever offered for sale or seen – it really is exceptional and perfect for investment or to just enjoy.
Trivia: The very first time we see Freddy in the movie, he isn’t being played by Robert Englund, but by Special Effects man Charles Belardinelli, as Belardinelli was the only one who knew exactly how to cut the glove and insert the blades.

Sorry for the spoiler but the poster imagery featured here is from the climax of Lee’s most successful and well known movie “Enter the Dragon” and showcases an iconic image of martial arts’ greatest star…Bruce Lee. This striking black & white photographic poster (I genuinely don’t think it would have worked as well in colour) was issued by Warner Bros. to record stores to promote the soundtrack album that accompanied the film in 1973. Easily the best example of this poster I have offered for sale. This originally rolled (as issued) example is rarely seen in this high grade unrestored investment condition and represents an extremely scarce and collectable example of original movie related memorabilia & a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
Trivia: Over 8,000 mirrors were used to set up the “Hall of Mirrors” where the climactic duel takes place.
…more detailRightly regarded as one of the key and most collectable movie posters for a film that created its own unique genre and provided the vehicle to launch Bruce Lee (albeit briefly) as a screen & cultural icon. Bob Peak created the artwork and his design was used globally as the imagery became as memorable as its late star. Whilst the core artwork remained the same slight variations appeared in different countries with this Japanese re-issue one-sheet format probably the most striking as the action imagery (including a nunchuk wielding Bruce Lee) was offset against a black background. Offered here is an exceptional Japanese B1 film poster for “Enter the Dragon” from the 1997 re-release, finished with a high gloss sheen it presents to stunning effect and displays minimal handling wear. This originally rolled (as issued) example is rarely seen in this large Japanese format and in such high grade unrestored investment grade condition. A striking piece that represents an extremely scarce and collectable example of original movie memorabilia & a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
Trivia: In 2004, this movie was deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” in the United States and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.
…more detailA classic case of the poster artwork being significantly more exciting than the film it was attempting to sell to the cinema-going public, this is the UK quad for the release of Terry Marcel’s low-budget sci-fi adventure Prisoners of the Lost Universe. The poster was designed and illustrated by the late, great British artist Tom Chantrell whose dynamic and colourful work featured on hundreds of posters over a forty year period. His official website features a great biography written by Sim Branaghan, author of the must-own book British Film Posters. Chantrell illustrated many classic poster designs, including several Hammer posters such as the brilliant quad for ‘One Million Years B.C.’, and was also responsible for the iconic Star Wars quad. Very rare and hard to find this originally rolled (as issued) example from 1983 displays very well with minimal age and handling wear. It looks fantastic and presents very well and represents a fantastic piece of very collectable Tom Chantrell poster artwork and a fine piece of original film memorabilia.
