Comments: When George Lucas & the Studio Executives realised just how successful this movie was likely to become their marketing strategy had to be re-assessed. The original JUNG & HILDERBRAND posters although iconic & artistic where not really that commercial in terms of characterisation. Tom Chantrell was drafted & in & produced this new look, bolder, brighter looking poster. Luke, Leia & Han Solo all bear an incredible likeness to their screen counterparts & the Star Wars merchandising phenomena was born.
