James Bond: Moonraker

At the time of its release in 1979 this "Star Wars" inspired Bond movie was the largest grossing 007 movie to date. Probably nothing to do with DANIEL GOUZEE'S poster artwork, but more to do with Shirley Bassey belting out another great Bond title song. This is a rare US Subway "Review" style with the film critic for "New York Times", Vincent Canby making the direct reference to Star Wars.

"CASINO ROYALE is too much for one James Bond" This 1967 James Bond spoof came out the same year as "You Only Live Twice" & was trumped hands down at the box office despite having a cast to die for & a relatively good plot involving SMERSH.

Fantastic Voyage

An extremely rare unrestored US Six Sheet from original year of release 1966. In one of the most inventive science fiction epics of the 1960s, Richard Fleischer directed Raquel Welch and the rest of the cast on an adventure inside the human body. This absolutely stunning six sheet, although similar to the one sheet, has better graphics with the addition of actual scenes from the film.

Striking US One Sheet from Roger Corman's 1963 Science Fiction "B" Movie "X: The Man With X Ray Eyes". With minimal restoration & excellent linen backing this displays as new & would be a fantastic piece of movie poster artwork to display. With a chilling image of Milland using his powers dominating the piece.

Go forth . . . and kill!" An original Italian 2 Folio from 1974 of John Boorman's post apocalyptic science fiction masterpiece starring Sean Connery in an orange nappy.

Batman

This 1989 US One Sheet is really superb. The extreme high gloss finish just adds to to the effect, giving the Batman symbol an almost 3D effect. Tim Burton was perfect at the time to re-invent this major screen character & for me this is the definitive Batman movie.

When an asteroid the size of Texas is headed for Earth the world's best deep core drilling team led by Bruce Willis is sent to nuke the rock from the inside. This US Advance One Sheet from 1998 is very striking with the image of an exploding planet Earth.

This US One Sheet has an extremely striking design with great use of monotone highlighted by the use of a bright, almost luminous red detailling.

The Third instalment (so far) of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park trilogy. An extremely eye catching poster by BLT & Associates utilising the original "Jurassic Park" design overlayed with the menacing shadow of a pterodactyl! (brilliantly reproduced in the film I have to say)

"Something Has Survived" The success of the first movie meant a sequal was inevitable. The Lost World Takes many plot ideas that couldn't be included in the original & climaxes in an ending straight out of King Kong (but happier).
