Comments: I was 9 when this movie was first released & I remember my Mum & Dad going to see it.They had to queue for over 3 hours to get in. Cinemas all over the country were running 24 hour screeings. This has NEVER been repeated for any other film (outside of a festival) that I know of. The movie is a cinematic phenomenon, an exquisite Mafia epic with outstanding performances... Coppola got everything right, creating a cinematical with an immeasurable influence on everyday culture and life.
